Summary

  • Recommend 4-6 escape artists
  • Good for beginners
  • Humorous puzzles
  • Difficult puzzles first and easier puzzles in the end

Rather than having the usual 60 minutes to escape, we had 75 minutes to Grandma's Masterplan. The room felt like an older room due to how worn it looked. The puzzles were creative and funny. There was one high tech puzzle in the beginning of the experience that was impressive. I felt that the puzzles in the beginning of the room were hard and it gradually got easier. The last couple of puzzles were relatively easy. Our game master had to come in due to a hiccup in the system, but other than that, it was a great experience. If overlapping loud music isn't your thing, don't do this room. I do recommend this room for beginners.

Overall, the room had a different feel and puzzles were certainly creative. It was concrete and direct, but it felt like the puzzles towards the end were a little too easy.
