Summary
- Recommend 2-4 people
- Minimalistic look
- Good story
- You can hear other teams and the music in the lobby
- Creative and fun puzzles (I really like the high tech one)
One of the co-owners, Dominique, was very nice and passionate about her business. We went there on a Saturday night and it was busy. This place has been getting awards since 2015! The story to the room was very intricate and it was cool to hear Dominique's voice as the narrator. Props to the artist that did the artwork as well.
The room was designed nicely with a minimalistic look. There was a lot of space to move around. The puzzles and riddles were challenging, creative and felt rewarding at the end. There was one high-tech puzzle that was really unique. I also accidentally hit myself in the face with a chain I had to unwrap... so watch out! LOL.
The main concerns I had about the escape room was the fact that the escape room had an open ceiling and we could hear other groups in neighboring escape rooms talking and making noise as well as the music in the lobby. It was certainly a challenge we had to adapt to during the escape room. We asked Dominique about the open ceiling and she stated that they wanted a "theater-like" experience and the fire department needed the sprinklers to be accessible to each room. The sprinklers were pretty high.
Overall, the room was very well done. After getting over hearing the voices of other teams and the music from the lobby, it was easier to communicate and concentrate on the puzzles/riddles. We were told that they were trying to find ways to decrease these distractions in each room. When they do, it'll increase the fun factor of the experience.
