Summary

  • Recommend 2-4 escape artists
  • High tech puzzles
  • Immersive AF
  • Good for beginning escape artists

First, I want to say that the introduction video before starting our room at Maze Rooms Los Angeles was a lil' intense and creepy. I don't know if it was because we booked this escape room for 11:30 pm, but there was a girl fully covered in blood, telling us the rules and expectations of the escape room. lol.

The escape room was small, intimate and immersive. It really felt like being on a train! There were no written instructions or directions, so we had to find anything that could help us in solving the escape room. The puzzles were pretty high tech and impressive. I've been to 28 escape rooms so far, but this room had a lot of puzzles I've never seen before! The nature of the puzzles were not overly challenging, thus making this room a good room for newbie escape artists.

Overall, the escape room was fun. It's on the easy side, but still enjoyable due to the nature of the room.
