Zodiac Killer

Introduction:

You are captured by a serial killer. Tied up and left in his lair, escape is your only chance. His method of operation is much like one Infamous Zodiac killer had. Has the real Zodiac returned or is this his copycat? You have only 60 minutes to escape, or the next body in a morgue will be yours.

Summary

  • Recommend 3-4 escape artists
  • Good for newbies
  • Great GM
  • Creepy with moments of surprise
  • One person will get separated from group

We requested Aryonna to run our game because she ran my other Fox in a Box games. This time she was able to meet my girlfriend, Amber! Aryonna is sweet, friendly and one of the best GMs we have ever met.

This escape room is arguably the best escape room Fox in a Box has to offer. Although all of they are good. I rank the rooms as followed (I did not do Mr. Fox's Study):

  1. Zodiac Killer
  2. Zombie Lab
  3. Central Bank
  4. Cold War Bunker

Initially, we got restrained in a room. Aryonna loosely restrained Amber because she was a little scared. Amber could've slipped out of her restraints but Aryonna requested that she waited till I solved the lock to get her out.

The escape room was creepy with the help of music and sounds. During one point, one team member is temporarily separated from the group, make sure they're good at communicating. It will help your group.

The puzzles were fairly challenging and some puzzles were very creative. It's quite amazing to see creative puzzles after escaping 50+ rooms. The flow of the escape room was very good.

Overall, this room is fun and do-able for 2 escape artists. I would recommend 3-4 for a better experience. This room is also good for newbies. Fox in a Box is a very good escape room company and I recommend this escape room. Make sure you request for Aryonna! :D
