Summary

  • Recommend 2-4 escape artists
  • 55-minute room
  • Good tech
  • Good for beginners
  • Not worth the $34.50 per person

The 13th room is great escape room company. We have done The Original 13th Room and Sherlock Holmes: Night of the Vampire, which were both excellent rooms. This room, unfortunately, did not leave us with the safe feeling after escaping from their other rooms.

The room was designed well. Our GM, Adriana, told us that previous groups have broken some stuff in the escape room but it was still in good working order. There was emphasis in not touching the pipes as they are under repair. (How sad!) The puzzles were challenging which we anticipated based on the other 13th rooms we went to. This room really shined with the types and utilization of technology, however, it wasn't enough to overcome the main issue about this room.

We felt that this escape room's ending was very anti-climactic. We thought there was another room! The whole experience felt incomplete and less than satisfying.

On the positive side, this room is very good for new escape artists who want a taste of what a small escape room is like.

I would not recommend this room for the regular price of $34.50 per person due to how short and anti-climatic the room was. I would recommend 13th Room to add another room to this escape experience.
