Summary

  • Recommend 3-4 escape artists
  • Mental health topic
  • Puzzles were on the easy side
  • Good use of technology

Our game master was not personable as he introduced us to the room. He may have had a long night, however, his energy and attitude did affect our initial feelings heading into the escape room. When we asked for a hint he did not give us vague hints, but rather he told us straight up how to do the puzzle. It was kind of a bummer! We were so close to understanding the puzzle and we just needed a little hint.

The escape room itself was unique. The craftsmanship aspect of the escape room was sub-par. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The first puzzle was the best because it was high tech. The following puzzles were good. Individuals who are experienced with logical puzzles will do great in this room. There was a sense of disconnection when we transitioned from the first room to second room(s). The first room was very structured and the second room was just all over the place. There maybe a reason for that, however, it would've been better to have felt some consistency to the flow of the escape room.

Overall, the conclusion of the room didn't have quite that adrenaline and sense of accomplishment we usually feel at the end of an escape room. Though unique, there were too many shortcomings for it to be a great escape room.
