Mysterious Stranger

Mysterious Stranger

Introduction:

You live a simple life in a simple time. Nothing out of the ordinary happens to you, until now. Five minutes ago you received a mysterious phone call. The caller stated that they work for the government and they need your help. Your neighbor has been detained and they believe he has created a device that will destroy America. The device is set to activate within the hour and they will not be able to reach it in time. They need you to go to his house and steal the device.

Summary

  • 3 escape artists
  • There's one puzzle that requires teamwork and communication
  • Puzzles are good and fun

First Impressions

Jasper was our GM and he was very friendly. He also gave us a chance to "warm-up" with a puzzle situated in the front of the facility.

Puzzles

The puzzles were challenging. There was one puzzle in particular that requires teamwork and communication. It was tough with our group of 3. We had one person that didn't communicate well, therefore the puzzles were more difficult than normal.

Immersion

First, you start "outside of the house" and you work your way inside. The immersion was good. Nothing too amazing. The rooms were fairly small and I would imagine a group of 4-5 would have "snug" time in there.

Value

Good escape room. The price for this experience is on par. Excited for their next room!

Should you play it?

It's definitely a good escape room to try if you find yourself in San Diego. The Diner is still considered my favorite escape room in San Diego.
