Summary

  • Recommend 4-5 escape artists
  • 75 minute escape room
  • Linear flow
  • Creepy atmosphere, not scary
  • So many rooms!
  • Great use of a live actor
  • Good story line - Nick explained in-depth after the escape experience
  • Puzzles were a good balance been non-tech and hi-tech
  • Wish we had paper and pen

Kyle, one of the game masters, did a really great job introducing the escape room and making sure the newbie in our group was comfortable before starting. Nick, did an amazing job being the live actor.

In regards to the escape room itself, it was amazing to see how many rooms were involved in this escape room. We could tell that there was a lot of effort made in designing and detailing the rooms. One of the biggest rules of the escape room was to not touch the beautiful paintings on the wall.

The escape room was NOT scary. It just had a creepy atmosphere due to the music, flickering lights and lack of lighting. We loved the feel of the escape room and the 75 minutes is plenty of time to get out. We felt that the escape room needed paper and a pen/pencil for some puzzles. Having none of these items made it fairly difficult to solve some puzzles.

Overall, it was a great experience. The 13th room escape rooms are very under-rated and their rooms need to be checked out by escape room artists of all experiences.
