The Cabin

The Cabin

Introduction: Your friend Walter, a renowned journalist, is heading to a remote cabin in the woods to do some research. From what he’s told you there have been a number of disappearances over the past year and he wants to get to the bottom of it. Rumors say someone, or something, is up there patiently waiting for its next victim. Unafraid, Walter packed his bags and took off. That was a week ago. This morning Walter sent you a series of texts that were frightening and you fear for his safety. His last message was quite disturbing, and it looks like you have very little time if you want to see him alive again…

Summary:

  • Recommend 2-4 escape artists
  • Good for beginners
  • Dark/Demonic Atmosphere
  • Don't overthink

Our game master, Shaun, was very friendly and had positive aura about him. We had a new escape artist with us and he was very accommodating with her.

As we entered the room, it was dark atmosphere with a demonic twist to it. There were no jump scares. It just has a horror twist to it. We had flashlights which helped A LOT! The puzzles were fairly difficult as our team needed several hints during the escape. There were puzzles that made sense to me and a lot of things in the room that could easily side-track you.

This is a great escape room for beginners. Just don't overthink the problems and puzzles. Also, read carefully. (:
