Summary

  • Recommend 2-3 escape artists
  • You choose your disease
  • Linear
  • 1st Generation
  • Go play Wizard Escape

After experiencing Wizard Escape from this company, we were excited to try out their newest room, Infection. Unfortunately, it was not like Wizard Escape. I would have to be honest and say that The Cabin was better than Infection.

I thought it was cool that we got to pick the the disease. There are a total of three diseases, however, at the time of booking there were two choices, Ebola and Rabies. We picked Ebola. The different diseases made it so one could play the room up to three times.

The flow of the escape room was linear and some puzzles were creative. It was very much a 1st Gen escape room. One of the puzzles was very frustrating. We had to decipher a sentence by looking at letters in a book...one letter at a time. It took a lot of time! We did, however, enjoy drinking the antidote at the end of the game.

It was hard to find positives in this room. I believe that there should be music during the experience. I wanted to like this room as I did with Wizard Escape, but I just couldn't. Wizard Escape continues to be the best room at Unity Escape Rooms.
