Summary
Recommend 3-4 escape artists
A very good and solid first generation escape room
Loved the puzzles
Multi-linear AF
Pleasantly surprised with this room
First Impressions
I went to visit my girlfriend, Amber, for her birthday. We haven’t done an escape together for a while so we decided to test our relationship! J/k. But no seriously, I believe escape room are one of the best ways to practice communication and patience with your significant other.
Amber found this escape room. I’m not the big fan of first generation escape rooms but nonetheless, I was excited to escape with my girlfriend. Just like old times.
The location may seem shady at night but Richland, WA is generally known as a safe place. We showed up to the facility with essentially no cars in the parking lot. But again, I’m from the city so this probably is normal. lol.
Sarah, the owner, was very sweet and had great communication with us over email. Mindy, our GM, was very sweet! I thought it was really cute that her children were there and wanted to help reset the escape room after it was done.
Puzzles
The strongest part of this room are the puzzles. WOW! Handcraft wood and detailed. Loved the wooden crypt and all the other puzzles in the room. It isn’t LA/Hollywood production, but I was surprised at how good the puzzles were for a first generation room. Super fun and enjoyable!
This room is definitely not a room for 2 people. There are too much to do and it’s multi-linear AF.
Immersion
The immersion was good. I remember Amber and I expecting an office-looking environment but instead we said, “Oh cool!” upon entering the room. Perplexit did a good job with making the play look wooden and rustic.
We appreciated the GM giving hints as needed. I respect when GMs watch and know when to give hints if we don’t ask for it.
Value
For $25/person? EXCELLENT VALUE!
Should you play it?
If you find yourself in Richland, WA, this is a great escape room and a MUST to play!
